Kickboxing champion Madusa Miceli delivers a one-two punch with Madusa's Tae Kickboxing Workout. This layout combines boxing, karate, and dance, a formula that is sure to make you FIT (Madusa's acronym for feminine, intelligent, and tough). Unique choreography incorporates the major muscle groups through punches and kicks that require full range of motion and maximum control. The basics of boxing are explained in the introduction with great descriptions that aide in safety and optimum form. These are essential tips that will be utilized throughout the workout and all fitness levels should tune in before starting the workout. The program is divided into three separate parts that do not differ in movement as much as they vary in tempo and length. Participants will have the choice of a 22-minute, 31-minute, or 42-minute workout, with each of these sessions including a thermal warm-up and abdominal conditioning. During all phases of this program, boxers are reminded to execute punches without hyper-extending the elbow and to keep proper body alignment. These instructions are helpful for beginning and advanced students alike and will ensure a more effective workout through proper form. This is a challenging format that requires concentration both physically and mentally. Madusa provides a workout that is not sugarcoated but rather centers on powerful movements that increase strength. I borrowed Medusa's Tae-Kickbox Workout DVD from a friend who did not recommend it, and did NOT want me to return the DVD to her. After trying the workout, I was so disgusted that I simply threw the DVD away. Champion kickboxer does not equal good instructor. Medusa needs to work on her timing, cuing, instructional explanations, and choreography.

Moving with major muscle groups that firm and shape your body. This include: arms, elbows, neck, back, abdominals, legs, ankles and knees. It burns fat and calories like playing racket ball! You will sweat even in Winter! Besides, it improves your poise and head up confidence in front of strangers!
