5 out of 5 stars Great Bag for your buck   February 16, 2010

I did my research on 100 lb. heavy bags. From what I found out, Everlast puts out a good product but after some use, it will begin to weather. I heard that TKO bags were excellent bags, and from what I have done and seen with mine, I agree. I suggest getting a 100 lb. bag or heavier, because I can get this one swinging when I hit it. I received it on a Wednesday when I bought it on the previous Saturday. Fast shipping! The only problem I had was that chains were not shipped with it. It came with the bag and a pair of speed gloves. The gloves are a tight fit for my larger hands, but do the trick. I don't use them though since it is a vinyl bag. I purchased some chain and some hanging equipment at a local hardware store for $30. I bought quality hardware, you can go cheaper though. The bag and the hardware make it look like it belongs in a gym, not my basement. I highly suggest this product!

I bought this bag for my husband as a gift. I read MANY reviews on other bags, and some of the major complaints were that the sand drops to the bottom and the bag looses its purpose. This bag is spectacular, we have had it for several months and it is holding up nicely. My husband hits it almost everyday and he is 6' 1" and weighs 220, so he is no small man. This bag is well constructed and highly recommended by us. Worth every penny!!!!!

I'm 240 pounds, and this bag can stand up to anything i throw at it. I even pound on it with a side-handle baton without worrying about damaging the bag. I've got it mounted to the ceiling in my garage with one of the Balazs Bag mounts, and since the bag is so heavy, it doesn't shake my whole house when I kick it. I had a 60 pound bag that was too light weight. If you can hit hard get a 100+ pound heavy bag or you'll regret it.

5 out of 5 stars A quality bag--you won't be disappointed!   March 7, 2009

After reading bad reviews for the Everlast 100 lb. bags, I decided to spend a little more and get a TKO bag. It's made with high-quality materials and offers a great workout--no worrying that it will fall apart during those heavy sessions. Highly recommended!
