Product Description Philo Beddoe (Eastwood) and his partner Clyde the orangutan team up again in this sequel to Every Which way but loose, and Philo finally gets the girl of his dreams. Genre: Feature Film-Comedy Rating: PG Release Date: 14-FEB-2006 Media Type: DVD
Amazon.com Philo Beddoe (Clint Eastwood) is back in this sequel to Every Which Way but Loose, once again brawling to make ends meet and just trying to manage his life with a crazy mother (Ruth Gordon), a dimwitted best friend (Geoffrey Lewis) and, of course, Clyde the Orangutan. He's had enough of this life, but when a mobster (Harry Guardino) comes along to make him an offer he can't refuse, Philo must use his wits as well as his fists to get himself out of yet another jam. The humor is thin and sporadic (though Gordon is in fine form), and Eastwood has since gone on to better things; but a film that features a brawl with a monkey and a motorcycle gang can't be all bad. --Robert Lane

Animal Abuse of clyde June 10, 2010 Modelle Chambless (houston) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Please do not but this movie. Clyde's trainer and owner has been shown abusing him. Nobody or animal should be abused to make a movie. I am sorry I bought this movie after finding out the abuse that Clyde received due to his owner. I destroyed the DVD and gave $50 to my local SPCA after finding out. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS MOVIE. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS MOVIE !! Bobby Berosini Clyde's owner has had orangutans for many years and was FINALLY caught on tape beating them. If you have seen the tape of the beatings you could not watch the movie ever again.
ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE TO BE ABUSED TO MAKE MOVIES. I CANNOT BELIEVE CLINT EASTWOOD DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS. A movie set is very closed it is hard for anyone to not know what is going on. F.U. Clint Eastwood. If he did not know about it he knows now and should speak out. NO MORE CLINT EASTWOOD MOVIES EVER. I would like to kick his ass.
Clint movie review February 14, 2010 Marc R. Gutierrez (NM, USA) It's Clint Eastwood... can the man honestly do anything wrong with regards to starring, directing or producing a movie? No
Clint Eastwood & Clyde January 31, 2010 Brenda C. Turner (Georgia) Any Which Way You CanI love all of Clint Eastwoods Movies! My grandson had seen an old VCR Tape and after we explained that some of the language was NOT supposed to be repeated he was allowed to view. He loved the movie. He has watched it several times and laughs all the way through. Clyde is his favorite 'Actor'.
BETTER than "Every Whch Way...." January 21, 2010 Bill Board (God's Wrath, Ohio) They're essentially the same movie with pluses Ruth Gordon and Geoffery Lewis and the minus, Sondra Locke, who could not "act" if her very existence depended on it. But "Any Which Way" has a happy(er) ending, and features Lewis' immortal line, "Well...you an' your girlfriend there wanna race me over?"
A fun movie with a great cast. December 3, 2009 michael feygin (woodmere, ny United States) This is a fun film with a great cast. It's a shame that the orangutan playing Clyde died soon afterward due to mishandling by his keeper.
