Step Ups
Hi Harold, a step up is basically done on a platform of some sort - can be a chair, bench, step, ringside, riser - doesn't matter. It's just a raised surface that you can step up onto and then back down onto the floor. Take a look at this video I located on youtube - gives a good description and will have to suffice until I get my own onto the site. If you're just starting with these, then don't pick something too high and don't worry about holding dumbbells in your hands - swing your arms as if you're walking instead. The exercise in this part of the program is mostly a warmup.
