Hi Sean, things are getting much crisper, but one big thing you'll need to stop doing is pushing your punches. Watch the video above and notice how long your glove comes into contact with the bag. You punch and it seems like you try to push through the bag. Contact with the bag should be a split second thing - just enough to transfer the energy to the bag. As soon as your glove touches the bag, you should already be pulling it back into the guard. Try putting less power into your punches, and just work on the technique. Once you have technique and speed, the power comes naturally.
Little bit better, your right foot is coming to high off the ground when you pivot. Just barely raise it off the mat, That way you keep your balance, Snap your punch from the elbow that way you won't be pushing it. Get a pair of exercise rubber bands fairly strong .Hook up against a waal or door and extend till you reallly feel strong resistance. Be in your stance and make sure you do proper movements on all your punches as you rotate from your waist as you snap your punches from the elbow. This will give you the spped you need to hit your opponent.
